Every Sunday in October in the old town of Zafferana Etnea (CT) is held "Ottobrata", market exhibition of typical products of Etna with stands of crafts and tasting of local products.

Protagonists of each Sunday in Zafferana Etnea are the typical products of the earth and their derivatives; the visitor attracted by the typical Sicilian cuisine can appreciate the grape, wine, mustard, honey, apples, seasonal fruits (prickly pears, pomegranates, walnuts, hazelnuts, chestnuts, pistachios), the mushrooms of Etna, oil, olives and canned in oil.

You can taste the local sweets (skiers, the donuts, the almond paste, the tea leaves), liqueurs, wines, honey, nougat and caramelized dried fruit, pistachio ice cream and many other delicacies.
