Perfect for Taormina and Catania (there is an amazing Roman Theatre there). Aci Trezza is well worth a visit. Just be prepared for a bit of a struggle to park.

This villa is located in a great spot with spectacular views. Perfect if you want to visit Taormina and Catania. Having a pool is wonderful for those days you choose to stay home and relax or a late night swim. Highlight was how we were able to sit in the backyard and watch Etna erupt.

Riesiger Pool mit flachem und tiefem Bereich. Klassische italienische Ausstattung im ganzen Haus, der obere Bereich könnte/sollte mal renoviert werden. Für die Terrasse wäre vielleicht ein großer Tisch für mindestens 8 Personen besser geeignet.Wir hatten in Familie mit 8 Personen eine tolle Zeit und nehmen ein bisschen sizilianische Gelassenheit mit nach Hause!

Vi var 10 mennesker, tre barn og sju voksne sammen i 14 dager og alle koste seg. Huset var stort og ga alle en mulighet til å være sammen eller alene, hvis vi ønsket det. Uteområdet og utsikten var vakker og bassenget var toppen for alle. Vi fikk god service fra Giovanni/Irene når det gjaldt huset og bading i havet, og gode «drosjetjenester» fra Veronica og hennes kolleger på billeie og drosjekjøring.

Spacious, with amazing views and beautiful surroundings...the property is large and there are nice walks in the area. It's next to a beautiful orchard in a semi-rural area, 30 minutes from Taormina and less than an hour from the airport in Catania. The rooms are well appointed, and the bathrooms are excellent.The common areas are large and there are stunning views of the Ionian sea from the dining room and the family room... and from the back, overlooking the pool, there is a beautiful view of Mount Etna, very close and clear. Giovanni, Connie and the staff at Suntrip Sicily were very responsive to every concern. Since we were arriving on a public holiday when most shops were closed, they helped us find an open supermarket on the way from the airport where we could shop for groceries. The staff were also very helpful when issues arose, and acted proactively to deal with some electric and heating problems that cropped up. Normally the pool would be closed in October but it was left open at our request. My 7 year old grandson and myself particularly were happy about this. The villa was exactly as described - very spacious and great oudoors area - the views of both coast and Etna are stunning. Giovanni and Irene provided great communication, suggestions and service before and during the stay. We were 6 friends travelling together so needed to use all bedrooms and the upstairs lounge, which had been pre-prepared as a bedroom with sofa-bed. The only negatives in the villa are that the upstairs lounge doesn't have curtains across the door so can be difficult to sleep in, and the upstairs bathroom has very low ceilings making showering standing up impossible. If you only use the 5 bedrooms then the villa will be perfect for you - everywhere has great air-conditioning although the villa stays quite cool with the natural breeze. You will need to rely on a hire car - there is nothing within walking distance and we couldn't book taxis on several occasions when we tried. Overall a great stay and well located for Etna.

You won’t find a view like this anywhere else! We stayed here for a few days as part of our Sicily trip with five adults, two kids, and an infant. It was great relaxing time after having been staying in cities for the rest of our trip. There was more than enough room for all of us (we didn’t even use the upstairs apartment) and the house was well-equipped with kitchen supplies, etc. The welcome basket with some breakfast items and some pasta was a nice touch, and we stocked up for ourselves at the local grocery store! We ended up spending more time at the house than anticipated because the views were amazing - the kids (and adults) were so happy in the pool and we could see everything! We did a trip to Taormina, and Mt. Etna, and picked up some wine at the wineries to bring back. The travel company also arranged a wonderful cooking class at home (best food of the trip!!), and the free parking and access to the local beach club was also great. Would highly recommend, esp. for families!

Villa Trinacria is in a wonderful setting with fantastic coastal and mountain views. It has easy access to Taormina Catania and Mt Etna. The living areas, garden and pool are great. It is a really good place for an extended family or larger group stay and our party of 8 adults and 3 young children were very comfortable there. Giovanni and Irene were always helpful and responsive and communicated well.

We absolutely loved the house and views, and had a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend the house, and although the pool wasn’t ready yet for the season, we could see it was being cleaned and prepared to open imminently. Giovanni, Veronica and Sun Trip Sicily were very helpful and responsive getting us taxis every day to take our large group wherever we wanted to go. It’s worth knowing in advance it really isn’t suitable to walk anywhere (no pavements), so as soon as we worked out how to get places (by requesting taxis), things ran really smoothly. A very happy time and we would definitely return. The house was large, clean and had everything we needed. Overall, an idyllic long weekend.

L’intérieur de la villa est vieillot mais on y passe que peu de temps, le plus important est là : grande cuisine avec deux grands frigos et très bien équipée pour un grand groupe, des chambres spacieuses avec Clim, et chaque chambre a sa salle de bain ce qui n’est pas négligeable ! Als Willkommensgruß wartete auf uns sizilianisches Gebäck, Pasta mit Soße (zum Selberkochen) und eine Flasche Weißwein. Der nächstgelegene Strand, nur 10 Autominuten entfernt, ist in Riposto. Dort erhielten wir als Gäste von Villa Trinacria freien Eintritt im Beach Club Lidu Luna Rossa, inkl. kostenloser Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirme. Ein weitere tolle Überraschung! Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Irene von SunTripSicily, die im Namen von Giovanni stets mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle war.  Our family of five adults and two children, aged 4 and 6, really enjoyed out stay at Villa Trinacria. The villa is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped for home catering - although the hot water system was temperamental. The pool was fantastic with plenty of sunbeds and sunshades, as well as two lovely swing seats. There is a great outdoor dining area with a large table. The villa is surrounded by citrus trees in a very quiet area in the foothills of Mt Etna with a wonderful view of Mascali/Giarre, the sea, and the coast of mainland Italy on one side with the mountain on the other. While we were there Etna put on an impressive display!

Giovanni clearly takes great pride in his place and in his paese, Sicily. We didn't actually stay at this property firstly booked due to a crazy storm called a Medicane (Mediterannean hurricane), so he gave us a bigger place - for the same price! It was fantastic. He and his team were always there with suggestions or just checking in with us. And he arranged for us to have a Sicilian dinner cooked in our Villa by his very own Nonna! She had us all making pasta the way she has for over 70 years! A great experience for us all - especially the kids! Amazing Stay at the Villa
We had an amazing stay at the Villa Trinacria! We were 10 people and absolutely enjoyed our vacation. The house or better villa is located a little higher in the hills. However, the beach is not far away by car. The accommodation is equipped really well. We had everything we needed, especially the sun at the pool and an amazing view! The bedrooms are really comfortable and there are a lot of bathrooms, which is nicely for such a big traveling group. All in all I can really recommend the accommodation. The check-in and before contact with the Organisators was more than perfect! We always had a quick and friendly response. Thank you so much! We definitely would come again :)

OMG!! Where to start? The villa is exactly like in pictures, and in my opinion a very good price-quality balance. We were a group of 10 adults, and we chose this villa because of it's position (we wanted something in the middle of the eastern part of Sicily, so that we can visit everyday something new). The pool is larger than it shows in the pictures, very clean - it was a blessing every evening after walking around 20-25k steps every day. I can't even describe how hard it was to chose every morning where to drink our coffee, facing Etna, or facing the see :). The customer service we got from Irene was unbelievable, she was there at every hour to respond to our questions! Thank you SunTripSicily and Giovanni for an excellent stay. Our only regret is that we haven't plan a longer vacation, so we can really enjoy the villa! But for sure will do it next time!

Il soggiorno a Villa Trinacria è stato eccezionale!
La posizione rialzata regala viste mozzafiato sui paesini circostanti e sulla costa, una vista del genere vale la pena di fare quei 15 minuti in macchina dal lungomare alla collina.
La casa è ben fornita e ben attrezzata (anche per gruppi numerosi), anche gli spazi esterni sono ben tenuti grazie ad una manutenzione costante che viene svolta anche durante il soggiorno in villa.
Per non parlare poi della vista sull’Etna direttamente dalla piscina, lo abbiamo visto eruttare stando comodamente seduti in sicurezza sui lettini in giardino!
Altra chicca è la collaborazione con il Lido Luna Rossa, compreso nell’affitto della villa c’è l’affitto degli ombrelloni in spiaggia: una comodità fondamentale per un soggiorno estremamente rilassante, senza pensieri.
Per finire, l’agenzia -ed in particolare la nostra referente Irene- sono persone eccezionali caratterizzati dalla tipica simpatia e disponibilità che solo le persone del sud hanno!
Unica pecca è stata l’assenza d’acqua per qualche giorno, l’assenza di acqua corrente è un problema molto frequente in Sicilia ma i ragazzi dell’agenzia si sono subito attivati per risolvere il problema grazie a delle cisterne per la scorta dell’acqua presenti in casa.
Se dovessimo ripassare da Mascali, non ho dubbi che terremo in considerazione di nuovo questa sistemazione

We had the most AMAZING 7 days in Sicily staying at Villa Trinacria near Mascali. The Villa was absolutely beautiful, exactly as pictured, and immaculately clean. We were 9 guests and were more than comfortable in the space, in fact, we could have slept more and still been fine! The pool and grounds had an unobstructed view of Mt Etna on one side and the sea on the other. Irene, Giovanni and everyone working for Sun Trip Sicily were what made the trip truly special. They helped us plan transport, excursions, gave recommendations, and even left a first day meal for us for when we arrived at the Villa. They were all incredibly responsive and wonderful the weeks leading up to and on the entire trip. Irene even greeted us when we arrived with her petit dog! We felt welcome, at home, and so happy during our stay. We cannot wait to come back to Sicily and stay at another Sun Trip Sicily property. Truly a special place, with special people, and the warmest of hearts. 10/10!

We also booked a dinner one night which was an amazing experience. The dinner was amazing. I did not expect it to be so delicious and to have such amazing service. We were all so appreciative it was more than we could have hoped for. Our hosts were very kind and quick to respond to all our messages. We had cars and we were able to visit several towns and wineries nearby never having to travel for more that 40 mins. The villa is in a great location. We had an awesome stay. The house is large, spacious with an unobstructed view of the coast and the magnificent Etna. We had the chance to observe the eruption from the garden! There is no vis-à-vis and the garden is very well maintained as well as the large swimming pool. We stayed at 3 families with teenagers and the stay was top! BBQ area, outdoor shower, deckchairs for everyone by the pool and large sofas in the living room for relaxation ... Everything went well with Giovanni even if we did not see him personally, contact by message was easy. To recommend

Our family spent 2 weeks at this villa and loved every minute of our stay. The villa was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed to make us feel at home. We were 9 adults and 4 children and we had plenty of space to sit and relax or gather together, inside the villa and out. The pool is large and was enjoyed by everyone, especially the kids! The property itself is huge, surrounded by fruit trees and is very private and secure. But the best feature of all are the amazing views! No matter where you sit, no matter what window you look out of, the views our incredible! With Mt Etna on one side and the open waters on the other, we never stopped talking about how beautiful these views were and how fortunate we were to be able to simply sit and experience them. Sicily truly at her best! This was our family's first big trip together and first time using a rental property and we would definitely do it again. Thank you Giovanni and Alessia at SuntripSicily!! They helped plan our trip well before we even arrived in Sicily. We told them what we wanted to see and do and they were able to arrange it all for us. They set up the car rentals, our tours and gave plenty suggestions of what to see and things to do. Any concerns or questions we had they were quick to respond. Our ten-day stay at the villa in May 2019 could not have been better and that has all to do with the warm and impeccable hospitality of Alessia and Giovanni. Not only did they make sure to respond in a kind, helpful and prompt manner at all times, they also arranged everything at and around the villa to be in perfect shape. This included the arrangement of rental cars and a pickup at the airport and of an unforgettable catered birthday dinner at the villa with the most beautiful local ingredients and recipes, all arranged by people as professional and warm as we have gotten to know Alessia and Giovanni. All guests, ranging from 3 months to in their eighties, found all the amenities they could wish for and had the best time during our stay. Outside of the villa, our group enjoyed visits to the Etna, Catania, Messina, Syracuse and Taormina. We certainly left the villa with a bunch of valuable memories and hope to return to it in the future.

An excellent place to stay, with fantastic views both of the sea and Etna. Communication with the hosts was very impressive; we were met at the accommodation despite a very late arrival, and messaging on the way was prompt and helpful. We were visited during our stay to check everything was ok, and any queries we had were dealt with immediately. The property itself is very spacious, with lovely outside areas. The neighbourhood felt very safe and quiet, but a car is definitely essential to reach shops and restaurants. That said, it is well situated to reach a range of nearby tourist destinations. I would recommend the villa very highly and would happily return.

Vi blev modtaget af Giovanni på stedet da vi ankom, fik rundvisning og mappe med nyttig info, samt en lækker velkomst pakke. Vi følte os meget velkomne. De spørgsmål vi havde i løbet af ugen blev besvaret med det samme. Der var stor hjælpsomhed omkring ture og ting vi gerne ville se. Vi havde selv lejet bil, så vi brugte det ikke så meget, men de var meget dygtige til at oplyse om tingene og angive forskellige muligheder. Stor ros til Giovanni og hans personale. Vi havde en skøn ferie på dette smukke sted og vil klart anbefale et besøg.

Villa Trinacria is a gorgeous, spacious Villa with a beautiful pool and patio areas to enjoy. Outside, the setting is private and in addition to the pool offers many sitting areas from which to enjoy the amazing wide views of surrounding area of the sea on one side and Etna and its foothills on the other. Inside the living and dining spaces are spacious, beautiful, nicely appointed and are surrounded by windows so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery from indoors as well. The bedrooms are comfortable and nicely appointed as well and the private baths are spacious and nice. This is a great place to enjoy with a group. We were four couples and it did not feel crowded at all. There is a full kitchen on the main level with all the necessities and a smaller one upstairs. The location is good for excursions in the area like Taormina, Etna, Alcantara and the many charming towns in this area. The villa is very private with a locking gate. The hosts provide beach chair reservations at the nearest beach too.There are a lot of pluses to Villa Trinacria, not the least of which is the attentiveness of the host Giovanni. He was great with communication and provided directions and suggestions on where to eat and visit and was on call to us the whole time we were there. This place went beyond meeting expectations. We really hope to return.

Our holidays were great in Villa Trinacria. The house is very well equipped and very big (we were 12 persons).The views from the house were beautiful (Etna and the sea). The pool is very big and the water isn't cold. There are a lot of places around the house to spend a relax time. Giovanni and Carla are very very kind

We were group of 8 (3 adults and 5 children) and enjoyed our time (9 nights) in Sicily and in the Villa very much! The villa's main benefit and attraction is beyond doubt its large well maintained garden with amazing views on Etna as well as panoramic views of the coast and sea. We could even pick fallen citrus fruits from the many trees in the garden for fresh lemonade :) Kids and adults alike enjoyed the pool every day, something magical to splash in the water with direct view to Etna through the green garden! Our local host (Carla) took very good care of us, provided plenty of local information (definitely try the La Spiga local restaurant - it's the best - we returned 4x times :) and she was always available to answer any question or help (she booked for me a bike rental, they delivered and picked up the bike directly from the villa - very convenient). we can wholeheartedly recommend especially for bigger families or groups of friends - you surely will have fantastic time.

After reading about this interesting island, we planned part of our trip to Italy for Sicily. Our stay at Villa Trinacria was very pleasant. The house and grounds are large, facing east to the Mediterranean with Mt. Etna hovering to the west in back. The rooms are pleasant and air conditioned. The large swimming pool is the centerpiece of a spacious back yard patio. One needs to learn the drive to Villa Trinacria, up a bit from the main road, and realize that all sight-seeing and restaurant eating will be a 15 to 30-minute drive. One feels safe in the villa and surroundings. We were pleased with our choice and truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Trinacria.

The villa was amazing. The pictures don't do the setting justice. It's really beautiful. There were six of us and we had plenty of space and sure it could take quite a few more. Giovanni and Carla was really helpful and made the whole experience easy. We would love to stay again!

This villa has a view all the way around we'll not easily forget; it's really gorgeous (sea, hills, Mt Etna, villages). Indoors we found ample space for our party of 7 adults and 3 children. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is a real luxury. The furniture might be a bit outdated, as is the kitchen, but we could prepare our cappuccinos and meals, mainly enjoying them outside. Outdoors really was great with the large pool, many sunbeds, chairs and tables. And a BBQ-space where we've grilled meat and fish while enjoying that beautiful view. WiFi available also outdoors for some Spotify music and sending photos/video straight back to family and friends back in chilly Holland.

We had a wonderful time at the villa. Lots of space, as well inside as outside with several terraces and a huge garden. A special experience: swimming in the pool with a smoking Etna. Communication was very good, we would recommend the expedition on the Etna which Giovanni arranged for us.

We just want to thank Giovanni for a wonderful experience. The house was as it looked in the pictures, the outside areas too. Our children just loved the orange trees that they were able to pick from themselves and eat or squeeze juice. Giovanni was very attentive and gave great information about the surrounding areas as well as setting up transportation to and from the airport and rental cars. His assistant Emanuela must also be mentioned as she worked hard to set up an excusion to Mount Etna, a guide who spoke English and she set up a lunch that was nothing but spectacular. We were thrilled and would recommend the villa, and it's host to anyone. Can't wait to go back

Villa Trinacria is in one word: Amazing. You have the most beautiful view! At one side you look towards the Etna, and the other side you see the valley and the sea. The pool is big and there are a lot of terraces to hang out around the villa. Every bedroom has a private bathroom. Giovanni was a real host. He told us how we should hike the Etna, he arranged a reservation for carting and he even bought a new fridge because one of the three wasn't working properly. He was really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Villa Trinacria!

We stayed 8 adults and 7 children one week In Villa Trinachia. The villa was lovely. Perfect with spacious rooms and a spectacular view from all around the House. The view is really stunning and we especially enjoyed the flourishing and well kept garden and pool area where we spent almost all our time. The pool was Big and clean and the surroundings areas green. Every morning we went to the local bakery for fresh bread. Highly recommendable. Giovanni, our host, was exceptionally helpfull with answering all our questions about the area, and he even arranged a very interesting trip to Etna. We cooked all our meals In the House and used the outdoor grill quite alot. Every morning we picked oranges and lemons and made freshly squeezed juice. Fantastic. We feel very fortunate to have found this place, and hope that we Can find an occasion to come back. We Can highly recommend both the House and Giovanni as a host

The Villa was exactly as described. All the rooms were comfortable and had their own bedrooms. Checking in was simple and the location was perfect for sight seeing of Etna and Taormina. Giovanni provided some great advice on local restaurants, taxis and tours and helped us arrange a Mount Etna tour and a wine tasting tour.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Trinacria. The photographs are very accurate and match perfectly with the real state of the villa. The villa was very nice, clean and quient with an amazing view of the coast, Taormina and Etna, both places are only some minutes away by car. The villa is very well set up with useful amenties like fully equipped kitchen, TV in each room and air condition and last but not least a big pool. Overall it is a lovely place where you should spend couple of days for relax or visiting the western site of sicily. Giovanni and his family were very friendly and helpfully and give us a lot of good recomandations. Highly recommended.
