Description
It is surrounded by generous vineyards, hazel trees and chestnut woods. Within the territory of the village there is the famous “Chestnut Tree of the Hundred Horses”, a splendid tree of really amazing proportions: the legend says that during a storm, Queen Joan of Anjou took shelter under its branches with her following of one hundred knights and their horses.
"SunTripSicily" tips: enjoy a splendid view from the main square and from the “Calvario” Church.
Taste the typical “Paste di nocciola” Hazelnuts cookies.
